When you think about the various marketing tools you can use to promote your business, the chances are that postcards won’t be at the top of your list.  That’s a shame, because they are an effective way of getting your message across – and they don’t cost the earth either.

One key feature of using postcards to promote your business is that they have a higher perceived value than a leaflet or flyer, and people tend to hold onto them for longer as a result.

But despite appearances they are quick, easy and cheap to produce, and can fit into most advertising budgets.  What’s more, they don’t require an envelope – all you need to do is put a stamp on them.  Even better, you can print a postage paid impression as part of the design and save even more time when you start sending them out.

What’s more, your humble postcard could even be kept as a collectible.  If you come up with a strong message it could still be around to boost your business in years to come.
